Written in a coffee shop whilst with my angels.
I think this is version 5 or 6... Maybe the others will surface one day

A Playground Scandal

Sitting here, alone, but with my children
Trying to write a love song,
Nothing too sticky, nothing too sweet
Just a simple tune, that moves along

And as I give up, I find I can't stop
And when I'm all in, that's when I'm on top
And when I'm down, I know I'll be OK
And when I'm happy, well, that's when you walk in and say

I love you, but I think that this is over
I need you, but I find you so hard to handle
I want you, but you juts don't seem to be able
To avoid all the gossip, and the playground scandal!

And when I lie down, I know I've got to get up
When I close my eyes, I'm even more awake
When I'm asleep, that's when I'm truly alive
And when I stop and stand still, that's when I start to shake
